VETERAN'S DAY 2020

Sharing memories of my number one husband an only father of our 3 Gifted and Talented Black American children spent   47 years in our American government service positions.

Arthur James Keith, Sr., my number one husband and only ACTIVE father of our gifted and talented Black American Children spent 47 years in our American Government service positions.

The first 17 years worst in Vietnam wars. The last 30 years of his life were spent as one of the first 13 Apprentice Engineers at NASA, Langley Air Force Base, Hampton VA. And 2, Naval Coastal System Center, NCSC, Panama City Beach, FL. while serving his time at both government facilities our children nor others like them we're not left to suffer from excellence education Because he was a professional humanitarian will share this love this time and his money to better humanity.

My husband also continued college as well as received at least two other degrees to better his Excellence Education as an engineer and mechanical drafting.

He was a genius when it came to computers all mathematics. He shared his mathematical abilities as well as his computer abilities in teaching others.

Before we began our Family Homeschooling, Our children’s father made certain the all three children and me, his wife were excellently educated in Computers, new Technology, beginning from Alphie,  who “was an educational robot toy popular in the 1980s.[1] It featured a slot in the front for interchangeable cards which lined up with special soft-touch input function buttons built into the front of the toy. It ran on batteries and came with different insert cards to help children learn mathspelling, matching skills, etc. The toy also played music.[2] The original Alphie was released in 1978.[3] Alphie II was released in 1983. Reviews for the Alphie range from calling the Alphie "highly educational"[4] to saying Alphie "scares [their] child".[5]   Alphie was made by Hasbro Alphie Company Hasbro Country ,United States Availability1978–present  Materials plastic

Another Hasbro toy Arthur, Sr. introduced to our children and others like them was the Rubik’s Cube

Then, of course, there were: The Speak & Spell.  According to Wikipedia, “The Speak & Spell Electronic Game helps in teaching your kids to spell over 200 words using a synthesizer. The toy comes in different modes: Mystery Word, Say It, Letter, Secret Code, and the original Speak & Spell.

Our children had a father that invested in The original Speak & Spell .“The original Speak & Spell was the first of a three-part talking educational toy series that also included Speak & Read and Speak & Math. This series was a subset of TI's Learning Center product group and the Speak & Spell was released simultaneously with the Spelling B (a non-speech product designed to help children learn to spell), and the First Watch (designed to teach children to read digital and analog timepieces).[6] The Speak & Spell was sold, with regional variations, in the United States,[6] the United Kingdom,[11] and Japan.[12]

The Speak and Read line  Again, this information comes directly from Wikipedia The Speak & Read was released in 1980 with a shape identical to the Speak & Spell but with different game features and a different color scheme.[80] Where the American Speak & Spell had been colored red with yellow and orange accents, the American Speak & Read was yellow with blue and green accents. Game[81] cartridges for the Speak & Read were identical in shape to those of the main Speak & Spell line, and they could be physically inserted into units from the wrong line; however, they did not function except in members of their own line.[82] The Speak & Read was designed to focus on reading comprehension in children of ages 4–8 with a library of over 250 basic words.

And The incredible Speak and Math line Speak and Read and Speak and Mathematics. The Speak & Math (sold as "Speak and Maths" in some countries) was released in 1980 with a shape identical to both the Speak & Spell and the Speak & Read but with a completely different keyboard layout, different game[91][92] features, and a different color scheme. Where the American Speak & Spell had been colored red with yellow and orange accents, the American Speak & Math was gray with blue and orange highlights. The Speak & Math was designed to focus on mathematics in children of ages 6–12 with a library of over 100,000 random and preprogrammed problems.[91] It was regarded as the spiritual successor to TI's earlier DataMan series,[93] with the difference mainly relating to the addition of speech synthesizing software and the visual display. The Speak & Math was only released to American and British markets.

In 1982, a compact version of the Speak & Math was developed contemporaneously with the Speak & Spell Compact. This version was only released in France as Les Maths Monique[94] (lit. The Magical Math). A redesigned version was developed in 1985 for British markets under the name of Maths marvel.[95] This was later released in Italian as Dotto Conta-Parla,[96] in French as le Calcul magique[97] (lit. Magical Calculator), and in German as Mathe-Fix.[98]

The Speak & Math was very minutely redesigned in 1986, under the same name, with the new version representing nothing more substantial than a redesign of the faceplate graphics.[99] In 1990 the Super Speak & Math was released as a major redesign similar to the first version of the Super Speak & Spell.[100] As with the Super Speak & Spell, the display screen of the Super Speak & Math was changed to an LCD screen instead of the former VFD screen. The keyboard was also expanded and given more functions. The general structure of the console was also altered similarly to the Super Speak & Spell such that the handle which had come at the top of the screen in prior Speak & Math units was now found on the bottom of the toy and ergonomic features were added to the shape.

Yet, that was not enough for our children’s father to further the excellence education of our children and others like them.

He further moved us, wife, and children into the very first line of personal computers, (the very first person who will email the name of the very 1st personal computer will win $)

I will never forget the investments Arthur made into my dreams and legacy. Arthur was the one and only investor in my first Gospel recording single: 45.  Arthur James Keith, Sr.  wanted his family to share his unending knowledge of New Technology and his unconditional love of humanity. And so, we do, even now, after Arthur’s untimely and early demise, until his Spiritual Transformation, July 13, 2005, he continues to assist our children and me with entering the Global Societies of New Technological community.

Arthur James Keith, Sr. sponsored several International students during their studies at Hampton University, while we lived in Hampton VA. He taught other students at the Gulf Coast Community College in Panama City Florida.  Arthur James Keith, Sr. never gave up his service to the American Government for the rest of his life in earth.  Arthur, my love, I really miss you. The song, “You Don't Miss Your Water Until Your Well Runs Dry". That is befitting.
